Just a Few Lessons Learned from MUSC Children’s Hospital:
My husband Kirby went through his pediatric residency at MUSC Children’s Hospital. As families do, we discuss our general work-days with each other and very regularly, there would be stories from his day that would touch my heart so deeply. I can’t tell you the number of times I would say to him, “Just bring that child home…we have plenty of love to share!” Lesson #1. We, as South Carolinians, need to take care of the children of South Carolina.

residency, it just so happened that I had several dear friends whose children went through the Children’s Hospital with some very serious, life threatening illnesses.
